Comhar specializes in home care for clients of all ages, enabling many individuals who would otherwise be hospitalized to remain in their homes. Services include skilled nursing; physical, occupational and speech therapies; medical social work services; and paraprofessional services such as personal care, housekeeping, shopping and companionship. Medical social workers ensure that clients benefit from appropriate community resources. Specialized programs serve geriatric clients with both physical and mental health-care issues. Psychiatric nurses are also available to provide counseling to clients and their families, monitor clients' health, manage their medications and provide instruction.

Payment Sources
COMHAR's Visiting Nurses service accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, or Self-Pay. We also accept assignment of benefits and our staff work with the client to arrange for insurance coverage.

Bilingual Services
Bilingual staff members are available to work with Spanish speaking individuals—both adults and children.
